Together Floating Dome

Start a glamping business on water.

A space between water and sky.

Turn a lake, pond, or waterfront location into the starting point for a distinctive hospitality concept built around a floating dome.

Indicative project budget from €10,000

Project-specific scope. Not a fixed package price or final quotation.

Concept visualization of a floating platform on calm open water: four connected hexagonal timber decks carry a transparent geodesic dome furnished with round floor cushions, a low table and candles, while the adjoining decks hold lounge mats, potted plants and a lantern, with a wooded shoreline in the distance.

Concept-stage floating hospitality project

Glamping on water

Turn water into a destination.

Floating Dome starts with a simple question: what could happen if the water itself became part of the guest experience?

  • Start with one signature space

A waterfront hospitality idea can begin around one distinctive floating space, before a larger destination is considered.

  • Build around the location

Water, landscape, privacy, access and the guest experience you intend are what shape the project the location could carry.

  • Make the setting part of the experience

Instead of placing accommodation beside the water, Floating Dome explores what happens when the guest experience moves onto it.

Seasonal hospitality concepts

Two seasons. One Floating Dome idea.

Summer and Winter show how the same underlying idea can support very different relationships with water, landscape and hospitality.

Summer Floating Dome

Open the experience to the water.

The Summer Floating Dome imagines a transparent dome surrounded by open floating decks, giving the water and the surrounding landscape a central role in the stay.

It can become the starting point for a private accommodation concept, a retreat space, a waterfront lounge, or another small hospitality experience shaped around the location.

Possible uses

  • Private stay
  • Waterfront lounge
  • Retreat
  • Meditation
  • Conversation
  • Creative space

Furniture and styling shown in the concept media illustrate possible guest experiences and are not a fixed included package.

Founder-approved concept visualization — not a built or operating installation.

A ten-second concept animation with no audio. The view moves around and into the summer visualization, showing the connected hexagonal timber decks, the transparent dome with floor cushions and a low candlelit table, and the lounge mats on the outer decks, with open water and a wooded shoreline beyond. It shows the same concept the surrounding text describes and adds no further information.

Winter Floating Dome

Reimagine the water in the colder season.

The Winter Floating Dome explores a more enclosed, warm and intimate expression of the same floating hospitality idea.

The current concept imagery includes cold-season elements such as heating and a hot-water experience, but those systems require project-specific technical validation before they can become part of a real installation.

Possible uses

  • Winter retreat
  • Wellness concept
  • Private escape
  • Seasonal accommodation
  • Quiet gathering

Heating, flue systems, hot-water installations, winter flotation and snow or ice conditions are not standardized product inclusions today. They require project-specific engineering and validation.

Founder-approved concept visualization — not a built or operating installation.

A ten-second concept animation with no audio. The view moves around and into the winter visualization, showing the snow-dusted hexagonal decks, the transparent dome drawn with a suspended stove and a lit fire, the flue rising through the dome, and an adjoining deck with a round timber tub of water, on an ice-covered surface with a snowy shoreline beyond. Everything shown is drawn, not built, and the animation establishes no working heating, fire, or water system.

One platform idea

The platform stays. The experience changes.

The platform stays. The season changes. The experience changes with it.

Floating Dome is built around the idea of a modular floating base that can support different spatial and hospitality expressions. Summer and Winter show two directions for how that underlying idea could evolve.

  1. Step 1

    Floating base

  2. Step 2

    Dome

  3. Step 3

    Season

  4. Step 4

    Guest experience

Starting point

Begin with a €10,000 project budget.

€10,000 is an indicative entry budget for beginning a Floating Dome project conversation. It is not a fixed package price, final quotation or turnkey project price.

The actual physical scope depends on the dome, floating base, water body, access, anchoring, transport, installation, intended season and other project requirements.

What the starting budget tells you

  • The scale of project we can begin discussing
  • A starting point for the physical concept
  • A basis for deciding whether to continue into project scoping

What still needs to be defined

  • Dome configuration
  • Floating platform
  • Water depth and conditions
  • Anchoring / mooring
  • Shore access
  • Transport and launching
  • Installation
  • Utilities
  • Interior
  • Seasonal systems
  • Engineering requirements

The €10,000 figure does not define a standardized list of included components.

Beyond the structure

The dome creates the space. The experience creates the business.

A Floating Dome project can become part of a much wider hospitality experience. The physical structure is only one layer of what guests eventually encounter.

  1. Floating space
  2. Location
  3. Guest experience
  4. Hospitality format
  5. Operations
  6. Business
  1. Layer 1

    Location

Where the project sits, and what the setting itself contributes.

    • Water body
    • Surroundings
    • Access
    • Privacy
  2. Layer 2

    Guest space

The physical space a guest actually occupies.

    • Dome
    • Platform
    • Interior
    • Immediate outdoor environment
  3. Layer 3

    Guest experience

How people spend their time once they are there.

    • How people stay
    • Rest
    • Meet
    • Retreat
    • Spend time on water
  4. Layer 4

    Operations

What keeps a hospitality space running day to day.

    • Access
    • Cleaning
    • Utilities
    • Bookings
    • Maintenance
    • Guest management
  5. Layer 5

    Business

How the concept is positioned and run as a business.

    • Positioning
    • Pricing
    • Customer acquisition
    • Day-to-day hospitality operation

These are layers a complete hospitality business may require. They are not a statement that Together.md currently supplies every layer as a packaged service.

What could it become?

Build the experience around your location.

  • Romantic floating stay

A privacy-oriented accommodation concept where the water and the surrounding landscape become part of the stay.

  • Wellness retreat

A calm hospitality direction built around rest, meditation, nature and small-scale wellbeing experiences.

  • Premium waterfront suite

A distinctive accommodation concept that could complement an existing resort, retreat or tourism property.

  • Private floating lounge

A day-use leisure or hospitality format centred on water, privacy and small gatherings.

  • Retreat / conversation space

A quiet floating environment for small retreats, offsites, creative work or private conversations.

These are possible hospitality directions, not pre-packaged business models or guaranteed commercial outcomes.

  4. Step 4Project-specific

    Scope the floating system

Define the floating base, anchoring or mooring, shoreline access, utilities, transport and other location-specific requirements.

  5. Step 5Engineering / regulatory dependent

    Validate the project

Determine which engineering, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements must be resolved before a real deployment can proceed.

  6. Step 6Scope-dependent

    Develop and launch

Move toward construction and hospitality operation only after the required technical, regulatory and operating conditions are understood and satisfied.

Built around what is real.

The geodesic dome is already available as a configurable physical starting unit. Floating Dome remains a project-specific concept that requires additional definition for the floating base, site conditions, access, anchoring, utilities and seasonal systems.

Summer and Winter illustrate hospitality directions. They are not pre-certified marine or winter product packages.

Together.md does not currently promise:

  • water-body permits or regulatory approval
  • structural or marine certification
  • certified flotation or stability performance
  • snow, ice or wind performance
  • standardized winter heating systems
  • standardized hot-water systems
  • guaranteed installation or delivery dates
  • financing
  • occupancy, revenue, profitability or ROI
  • complete turnkey business delivery

Open collaboration

Let’s build the Winter Floating Dome together.

Together.md is exploring a seasonal floating space for winter wellness and human connection on a Moldova lake. It is a concept—not yet a permitted, engineered or operating venue. We are opening the journey so that people with relevant locations, knowledge, resources and relationships can help shape the next responsible step.

  • Open need

    Location and water access

The setting shapes everything else. Without a real water body and a real relationship to whoever controls it, no other question can be answered honestly.

    Who may help

Lake and site owners, venue operators, local administrations, and trusted connectors who know a suitable setting.

    Smallest useful first signal

The exact location, your relationship to the owner or operator, why the setting may fit, and the access constraints you already know about.

Please do not seek or offer a permission decision or a technical conclusion through this form.

  • Open need

    Floating and winter technical feasibility

A floating structure used in winter raises questions about the platform, mooring, utilities, heating, ventilation and fire safety that a concept cannot answer by itself.

    Who may help

Marine and platform, structural, utilities, heating and ventilation, fire, and winter-safety professionals.

    Smallest useful first signal

Your relevant experience and the first technical question you believe must be answered.

No free calculations, drawings or professional opinions are requested. Substantive work needs an agreed scope.

    Share relevant experience
  • Open need

    Water, environmental and permission pathway

Placing anything on Moldovan water touches water governance, environmental protection and cadastral records. Knowing which door to knock on first is genuinely valuable.

    Who may help

People with Moldova water-governance, environmental, cadastral, legal or public-administration experience.

    Smallest useful first signal

Your role or experience and which authority or record you would check first.

Nothing shared here creates legal representation, and no legal reliance is implied.

  • Open need

    Winter wellness and hospitality operation

A winter space is only worth building if the experience inside it is good, safe and genuinely restorative for the people who use it.

    Who may help

Wellness practitioners, hospitality operators, experience designers, and emergency or guest-flow specialists.

    Smallest useful first signal

Your relevant operating experience and one bounded collaboration idea.

    Offer operating experience
  • Open need

    Resources and project support

Concepts move when real resources and real relationships become available on terms both sides understand.

    Who may help

Sponsors, suppliers, fabricators, logistics providers, and capital or grant connectors.

    Smallest useful first signal

The resource or relationship you can make available, and the conditions attached to it.

This is not an investment solicitation, a purchase commitment, or an offer of preferred-supplier status.

    Offer a resource
  • Open need

    Relevant introductions and responsible storytelling

The person who unlocks the next step is often one introduction away — and how the concept is described matters as much as who hears about it.

    Who may help

People who know a suitable owner, specialist, partner, community or audience.

    Smallest useful first signal

A consent-aware introduction path, or an audience for whom this would genuinely be relevant.

Please keep the concept-stage truth intact when you describe it. This is not a venue you can visit.

How collaboration works

  1. 1Choose how you may help.
  2. 2Send a private expression of interest.
  3. 3Together.md reviews fit, evidence, expectations and privacy preferences.
  4. 4If there is a useful next step, people connect by mutual consent and progress is recorded factually.

Together.md is the initiative sponsor and collaboration steward for this experiment. We are not the engineer, certifier, lake owner, permitting authority, venue operator or a neutral procurement marketplace, and nobody is represented, selected, hired or endorsed by sending interest.

What collaboration can create

  • Useful relationships and introductions.
  • A chance to help shape a real Moldova project.
  • Paid work or supply opportunities, when a later scope, payer and agreement exist.
  • Value for a location through future use, rent, partnership or destination visibility, when separately agreed.
  • Consented attribution or a case study, after a factual contribution.
  • Learning and participation in a multidisciplinary feasibility process.

None of these outcomes is guaranteed by sending an expression of interest. Together.md decides which expressions of interest enter a private conversation, and exact terms are always agreed separately.

Your submission stays private

  • Expressions of interest are private by default and are reviewed by Together.md for this pilot.
  • Nothing you send is published. Public progress on this page is written by hand, and naming anyone requires their separate, specific permission.
  • Inactive records receive a retention review after 90 days.
  • You can ask to access, correct, withdraw or delete your submission at any time by writing to together.moldova@gmail.com.
